About the Programme
Moving together, thriving together.
Physical activity is one of the most powerful tools for improving mental and physical health — but for many women in our community, barriers like cost, language and cultural sensitivity make it hard to access.
Active Communities removes those barriers. All sessions are free, women-only, and delivered in culturally safe environments. No experience needed — just show up.

Activities
Free Swimming
Weekly swimming sessions at local pools, open to all abilities. A great way to stay active, improve fitness and meet other women in your community.
Pilates
Gentle Pilates classes focused on core strength, flexibility and relaxation. Suitable for beginners and women returning to exercise.
Chair-Based Exercise
Low-impact exercise sessions designed for women with limited mobility, chronic conditions or who are new to physical activity.
Walking Groups
Friendly community walks that combine gentle exercise with social connection. A safe, welcoming space to move and meet others.
