Assalamu’Alaykum, I’ve enjoyed attending by the sessions which were very useful and informative ma’sha’Allah.I love connecting with nature and working with my friends to find the different types of trees and flowers. The fresh air really really helped me and the most important thing is the beautiful company of all who attended.
I feel the sessions really helped me with my mental health and they gave me useful tips to help cope with anxiety. I don’t think this would have been possible without the great leaders Raziya, Saima and Hira so a huge jazak’Allah khayr to you all.

My journey with Weta started as just a thing to get me out the house, socialise make friends and learn a few things along the way! But this journey was one of the greatest stepping stones in my life that enabled me to push through the barriers and boundaries of lack of confidence, self belief and the motivation to do something better for my life! It allowed me to be me again and find that dedication and passion for a deeper purpose in life. Through these weekly group meeting I was able to make friends, communicate, learn and so much more! I loved the sessions and they were always the highlight of my week. Razia gave me strength to volunteer and lead some sessions and pushed me out of my comfort zone to always do better! She always said you don’t ask you don’t get, and that gave me the confidence boost to put myself out there to get some experience. It gave me the confidence I needed to apply for jobs and put the volunteer experience down. Even though I had my degree and worked prior to kids I really hesitated with going back into work and being accepted. Razia’s guidance and encouragement enabled me to apply for roles that I didn’t even think I would ever qualify for let alone get! I was able to get a job within community work which is something I said to Razia I wanted to do especially after seeing her work with communities and how it affected so many lives in such beautiful ways.
Being a part of WETA Empowerment has been an incredible experience. Razia has been amazing, and I am truly grateful to be part of this wonderful community, connecting with such inspiring and supportive women. The platform offers a fantastic space for learning, networking, and personal growth. The events and discussions are empowering, and it’s uplifting to be surrounded by like-minded ladies who encourage and uplift each other. I deeply appreciate the efforts put into creating such a positive and inclusive community. Looking forward to more impactful sessions and meaningful connections!
Mrs Razia took me under her wing. We started the course with the intention of “me time” however after COVID came along , we stopped everything. I became less fluent English, as i wasn’t being exposed to the language as much anymore due to quarantine and as a result, I lost my confidence. Me Time is great. We had so much fun doing this course. Mrs Razia and our team are fantastic. As a tutor, she is everything we want. She encourages us to get our best all the time. Now a days I am doing volunteer in Me time to help other and I would definitely do this course all over again! Thank you for all the help and support.
