Who
We Are

WETA Community Services CIC is a grassroots organisation dedicated to fostering community cohesion and empowering women from racially ethnic minoritised communities. Founded by Razia in 2019, WETA was inspired by her decade-long work in communities, where she identified significant gaps in mental health awareness, health literacy, health inequalities, stigma and barriers in accessing culturally appropriate services . To address these challenges, she created WETA to engage, educate, and empower women and build stronger, more inclusive communities through innovative and tailored programs.

We offer creative, bespoke initiatives designed to break down barriers and build bridges. As a diverse, multilingual, and multicultural organisation, we are culturally sensitive, culturally informed, and trauma-informed, providing a safe and nurturing environment for women to rebuild confidence, challenge stigma, and achieve their personal goals.

Taking a strength-based and person-centred approach, we aim to unlock each woman’s potential and help her become the best version of herself. Many of our facilitators were once participants themselves, and now as paid team members, they embody the transformative impact of WETA. We celebrate the resilience of every woman we support, offering pathways for growth, progression, and lasting transformation.
